Redlino ( German  Redlin ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship . It belongs to the municipality of Białogard ( Belgard ) in the powiat Białogardzki .

Geographical location

Redlino is five kilometers northwest of Białogard and two kilometers southeast of Karlino ( Körlin ) on the Voivodeship Road 163 Kołobrzeg ( Kolberg ) - Wałcz in the lowland of the Persante . State road 6 (= European route 28 ) runs from Szczecin to Gdansk not far from the city .

history

As early as 1484, Redlin was first mentioned in a document in connection with the name Bonin as the owner of a farm. The name Molzahn has also been recorded since 1695 and the Hardt family since 1726. All three genders were resident in Redlin until 1945.

In the year 1856 the place had 404 inhabitants with 42 houses, 1 school, 1 poor house and 79 farm buildings. In 1939, 383 citizens lived in the village, the area of ​​which was 1349.2 hectares. The vast majority of the population lived from agriculture. The yields could be marketed cheaply in the cities of Belgard and Körlin.

Until 1945, Redlin together with Alt Lülfitz , Neu Lülfitz and Rostin formed the Lülfitz district in the Belgard district (Persante) . Officially, the place belonged to Roggow . The competent district court was in Belgard . The last mayor before 1945 was Erich Knop.

In the first days of March Redlin was occupied by Red Army troops. At the end of 1945, the local population began to be expelled . Redlin came to Poland as Redlino and is now part of the rural municipality of Białogard.

Until 1945 Redlin belonged to the parish of Körlin , which was assigned to the parish of Belgard on April 1, 1931 . He was part of the ecclesiastical province of Pomerania in the Evangelical Church of the Old Prussian Union .

Today Redlino belongs to the Parafia Koszalin ( Köslin ) in the diocese of Pomerania-Greater Poland of the Polish Evangelical-Augsburg Church .
