history
Prehistoric finds were made in the Butzker Moor near the place. The square is interpreted as the sanctuary of a settlement chamber, where offerings have been sunk in the moor for a long time.
Butzke with its outworks Gusen skating and Seekaten was the manor - and farming village. The name indicates a knightly family called Buetzken in Buzeke or Buczeke . The village was first mentioned in a document at the end of the 15th century. In 1843 Karl Krüger acquired the estate , who sold it to Ferdinand Lobeck in 1856, whose family it remained until 1945.
In 1939 there were 311 inhabitants in 75 households in the 1156 hectare Butzke. At that time the village belonged to the district and civil registry district Bulgrin (now Polish: Białogórzyno ) in the district court area of Belgard. The last mayor was Willi Teske, the last head of office was Wilhelm Lobeck and the last registrar was Albert Wendt.
On March 3, 1945, the Red Army occupied the village that became part of Poland as a result of the war . The local population was expelled . Today Buczek is part of the rural municipality of Białogard.
church
Butzke belonged to the parish Bulgrin ( Białogórzyno ) until 1945 , which in 1940 counted a total of 1762 parishioners. It was integrated into the Belgard church district, which belonged to the church province of Pomerania in the Protestant church of the Old Prussian Union .
