Rychówko ( German Klein Reichow ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship and belongs to the rural community Białogard ( Belgard ) in the powiat Białogardzki .
Geographical location
Rychówko is ten kilometers southwest of Białogard and can be reached on a side road via Stanomino . Until 1945, Groß Reichow was the next station on the Belgard – Rarfin small railway line .
history
Klein Reichow was an old fiefdom of the von Podewils . In 1732 it consisted of four parts, so that the owners changed frequently. Friedrich Wilhelm von Podewils reunited the entire estate in his hand and sold it in 1782 to his son-in-law Karl Ernst August von der Groeben . On the basis of a cabinet decree by King Friedrich Wilhelm III. Daniel Ziemer became the owner on May 14, 1803. His family owned the 300 hectare estate until 1945.
In 1865, 151 people lived in Klein Reichow, which consisted of 14 residential buildings, a school building and 19 farm buildings.
Until 1928 the manor and farming village of Klein Reichow was an independent municipality. This independence was lost when the place was incorporated into the smaller community of Schinz .
In 1939 Klein Reichow had 200 inhabitants. The place belonged to the district of Belgard (Persante) and was in the official and registry office district Standemin . District court district was Belgard. The last mayor before 1945 was Erich Beilfuß.
Troops of the Red Army marched into Klein Reichow on March 3, 1945. In autumn 1945 the resident population began to be expelled . Klein Reichow came to Poland and is now called Rychówko part of the rural community of Białogard.

Parish
Klein Reichow and Groß Reichow ( Rychowo ) formed an independent parish until 1945, which was part of the parish Standemin as a subsidiary parish . The rectory, however, was in Belgard, from where a pastoral district extended into the parish.
The parish belonged to the Belgard parish of the ecclesiastical province of Pomerania in the Protestant church of the Old Prussian Union . The church patronage for Klein Reichow was exercised by the landowning families Ziemer and Beilfuß, for Groß Reichow by the von Holtzendorff family in Podewils. From 1937 to 1945 the pastor's post was vacant and the parish Standemin was supplied from Rarfin .
Today Rychówko is in the parish of Koszalin ( Köslin ) in the Pomeranian-Greater Poland diocese of the Polish Evangelical-Augsburg Church . The place of the church is Białogard.
Village church
The church in Klein Reichow was a massive building from 1857. It stood on the site of an old, dilapidated wooden church from 1608. However, it stood for barely a hundred years, because after 1945 it was demolished along with the organ.
school
Klein Reichow already had its own school building in 1865, which was considered to be very well equipped.
Others
In July 1935 stonecutters discovered several barrows in the forest near Klein Reichow from the time of the Germanic conquest of Pomerania around 1400 to 1200 BC. These graves are considered to be important witnesses to the first Germanic era in Western Pomerania .
