Nasutowo (German Natztow ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship . It belongs to the rural community ( gmina wiejska ) Białogard (rural community Belgard ) in the powiat Białogardzki .

Geographical location

Nasutowo is ten kilometers southwest of Białogard . The northern boundary of the municipality is formed by the Parsęta ( Persante ).

Local history

Natztow was an old fiefdom of the von Wopersnow family . After the death of Nikolaus Friedrich, the fiefdom was divided on January 5, 1724 between his brothers, Rittmeister Georg Adrian and Lieutenant Christoph Rüdiger von Wopersnow. After the death of Christoph Rüdiger, Georg Adrian first inherited and finally his brother Klaus Heinrich. His son Georg August became heir to fief. However, Heinrich Blatzer von Brockhausen still owned half of the estate. Major General Moritz Franz Kasimir von Wobersnow was able to pay off the debt on March 24, 1739. His son Georg August von Wobersnow inherited the estate. But on November 25, 1773, the entire estate was sold to Captain Anton von Kleist from neighboring Kamissow . The manor remained in the possession of this family until the end of the war in 1945, the last owner was Kurt von Kleist.

In 1867 there were 11 farm buildings, a school and 197 people lived in 13 houses. In addition to the estate , there were eight other farms. In 1939, 155 inhabitants lived in 36 households on site. The community area comprised 633.9 hectares.

Natztow was formerly on the border with the Principality of Cammin , which was formed here by the Persante. Until 1945 the village belonged to the district of Belgard (Persante) and formed the Kamissow office with the communities of Kamissow and Sager . According to the registry office it belonged to Rarfin , the competent district court was that in Belgard.

The last incumbents were: Mayor Karl Nettel, Mayor Richard Schröter and registrar Otto Elert. Landjägermeister Mau from Vorwerk was responsible for the police duties .

Natztow was occupied by Soviet and Polish troops on March 3, 1945. The population was expelled after the end of the war . The village came to Poland and today belongs to the Gmina Białogard with the name Nasutowo.

church

Natztow was ecclesiastically divided: the farming community belonged to the parish Rarfin , while the manor parish belonged to the parish Standemin . Both parishes were to 1945 in the parish of Belgard (church Pomerania) of the Evangelical Church of the Old Prussian Union .

In 1940, 1412 parishioners belonged to the parish of Rarfin and 1181 to Standemin. The last German pastors were Günther-Gerhard Henning in Rarfin and Siegfried Pagel in Standemin, the latter being represented by his Rarfiner brother because of his military service after 1937.

Today Nasutowo is in the parish of Koszalin ( Köslin ) in the diocese of Pomerania-Greater Poland of the Polish Evangelical-Augsburg Church . The place of the church is Białogard.

school

Already in 1867 there was a school building in Natztow. The one-class elementary school was last and for a long time headed by teacher Richard Schröter.
