Kisielice (Białogard)

Kisielice (German Vorwerk ) is part of the town of Białogard (Belgard) in the powiat Białogardzki of the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship .

Geographical location

The village of Kisielice, which was independent until 1945, is located in the south of Białogard and is separated from the town proper by the Parsęta . Two side streets lead through the district to Rąbino (Groß Rambin) and to Sławoborze (Stolzenberg) . The Berlin - Szczecin - Gdansk railway runs through the town, the next train station is Białogard.

history

To the farming village Vorwerk bordered on the left Persante the -Ufer manor Ackerhof (Przemiłowo). It used to be a separate farm, which is why it was also called "Ackerhof Vorwerk " . In 1928 the Ackerhof estate district was merged with the Vorwerk community.

At the end of the Thirty Years War Vorwerk had 69 permanent residents and in 1866 there were 17 residential and 31 farm buildings in the place. The Ackerhof estate came into the possession of the pharmacist Berthold Janke in 1852, the last owner before 1945 was the Graßmann family.

Traders in Vorwerk were a master baker, a master carpenter and a coppersmith. In 1939 573 people lived in 174 households in the 506 hectare community. Most of the residents worked in industry and crafts, followed by agriculture and forestry.

Vorwerk belonged to the district of Belgard (Persante) until 1945 and together with the communities of Denzin and Roggow formed the district of Roggow. It was part of the Roggow registry office district. The competent district court was Belgard . The last incumbents before 1945 were mayor Kurt Goldhammer, mayor Walter Gatzke and registrar Paul Zülow. The police services were in the hands of Hermann Mau from Vorwerk.

On March 3, 1945, the municipality of Vorwerk received the eviction order. When Belgard was bombarded a day later, Vorwerk was also hit. The property was expropriated on April 20, 1945, after which the eviction began . The Ackerhof estate became a Polish state estate.

Vorwerk belonged to the parish of the Marienkirche in Belgard. It was in the parish of Belgard in the church province of Pomerania of the Protestant Church of the Old Prussian Union .

Today the town of Białogard belongs to the parish Koszalin (Köslin) in the diocese of Pomerania-Greater Poland of the Polish Evangelical-Augsburg Church . Protestant services in Polish and German take place regularly in the former Białogard Church (it belongs to the Roman Catholic Church).

school

In the Vorwerker elementary school, grades 1 to 8, and later only 1 to 4, were taught in one class. The school building stood at the Persante bridge. In 1928 the teacher Rudolf Koesling taught 17 girls and 20 boys there. The last headmasters were Hans Neitzke, Paul Schulz and Paul Nagel.
