The Gmina wiejska Białogard is an independent rural municipality in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship , Powiat Białogardzki . The seat of the district and rural community is the town of Białogard [ bʲawˈɔgart ] ( German Belgard an der Persante ), which does not belong to the community itself.
The rural community has an area of 328.25 km², which includes the entire urban area, and a population of 7554 (June 30, 2019). The municipal area corresponds to 38.8% of the area of the powiat Białogardzki , and according to its area it ranks 16th in size in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship.

The Gmina is located in Western Pomerania , about 25 km southeast of Kołobrzeg (Kolberg) and 25 km southwest of Koszalin (Köslin), Stettin is about 150 km away. The most important is the river waters Parsęta ( Persante ).
