Jan-Eric Schwippert (also Jan Eric Schwippert ; * 1990 or 1991 in Stuttgart ) is a professional German poker player .

Personal

Schwippert comes from Stuttgart . He lived in Brighton for a while and at least in 2017 lived in a shared apartment in Vienna with poker players Jens Lakemeier and Christopher Frank .

Poker career

Schwippert has been playing online poker since June 2009 . He uses the nickname OverTheTop43 on the PokerStars and 888poker platforms , plays as colette1986 on partypoker , as jan5266s on PokerStars.FR and as favre4bandit on Winamax . His earned tournament prize money amount to more than 5 million US dollars , with the majority at PokerStars was recovered. There, Schwippert won a Spring Championship of Online Poker tournament with a main prize of around 260,000 US dollars in May 2013 and two World Championship of Online Poker tournaments in September 2017 with prize money totaling almost 280,000 US dollars. In 2014 it was temporarily among the top 10 of the PocketFives ranking, which lists the most successful online poker tournament players worldwide. Since 2012 he has also participated in renowned live tournaments .

In the summer of 2013 he was the first time in the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas successful and occurred in two tournaments of the variant No-Limit Hold 'em the money. In December 2017, he finished second behind Stefan Schillhabel at a high roller event as part of the Five Diamond World Poker Classic at the Hotel Bellagio in Las Vegas , but received most of the prize money of just under 370,000 US dollars due to a deal . At the end of January 2018, Schwippert finished second in the A $ 25,000 Challenge of the Aussie Millions Poker Championship in Melbourne for more than 500,000 Australian dollars . In mid-April 2018 he finished fifth at the main event of the partypoker Millions in Barcelona for more than 600,000 euros in prize money.
