The National Highway 134 ( R 134 ) was to 1945, a state road of the German Reich . It led in a north-south direction through central and southern East Prussia from Prussian Eylau (today in Russian: Bagrationowsk ) via Allenstein (today in Polish: Olsztyn ) and Ortelsburg ( Szczytno ) to Friedrichshof ( Rozogi ). In the course of the war, the road was extended to the Polish Ostrołęka ( Scharfenwiese ) in 1939 . With a total length of 147 (later 196) kilometers, the R 134 connected the Reichsstraße R 128 , R 142 , R 127 , R 130 and R 133 .

Today the route of the former R 134 runs through two national areas: starting in the southern Russian Oblast Kaliningrad, it runs through the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship and later finds its destination in the northern Masovian Voivodeship . There is no border crossing point . The short section on Russian territory has no road markings. In Poland, on the other hand, the voivodship road DW 511 and - in parts - the state roads DK 51 and DK 53 use the former route of the R 134.
