Reichsstraße 355 ( R 355 ) was designated as Reichsstraße 355 ( R 355 ) after it was taken over into German civil administration as the CdZ area of Lorraine in 1940 to 1944, the road connection treated as Reichsstraße , that of Uckange (Ückingen) in the Moselle department (until 1918 the Lorraine district in the realm of Alsace-Lorraine ) and branched off from Reichsstraße 57 , which had been extended into French territory , on the route of the former French Route nationale 52 , which is now replaced by the Autoroute A30 , via Hayange (Hayingen) to Aumetz , behind which it ran the border of the Meurthe department -et-Moselle towards Longwy .
