The National Highway 382 ( R 382 ) was to 1945, a state road of the German Reich . It initially ran in the Reichsgau Wartheland, formed in 1939 from annexed areas of Poland, in a west-east direction from the town of Kostrzyn (German: Kostschin), where it branched off from Reichsstraße 114 (today Droga ekspresowa S5 ) via Gniezno (German: Gnesen) to the northeast through what was then Reichsgau Danzig-West Prussia (today's course of Droga krajowa 15 ) via Inowrocław (temporarily Hohensalza), where Reichsstraße 380 met it, and on to Toruń (Thorn), where it crossed the Vistula and where, among other things, the Reichsstraße 129 branched off to the north, and continued through the village of Lipnica (intersection with what was then Reichsstraße 384), Brodnica (Strasburg) (intersection with what was then Reichsstraße 78 ), joined East Prussia at Działdowo (Soldau), which was annexed to Poland in the Versailles Treaty ceded part of East Prussia, reached the newly formed Zichenau administrative district connected to East Prussia before Mława (German name: Mielau) , passed through Gudrus k (junction with the then Reichsstraße 128 ), Przasnysz (German name Praschnitz) and from there on the route of today's Droga krajowa 57 to Maków Mazowiecki , finally from there to Szelków, where it ended.
