Sarah Riani
Sarah Riani (born August 8, 1983 in Lyon ) is a French singer.
biography
The daughter of a mother from Algeria and a father from Morocco , was born in Lyon . In 2005, she took part in the third season of the singing casting show Nouvelle Star and made it onto live shows. Ultimately, she reached 7th place.
In 2007 she signed a contract with the music label Bombattak Recordz and recorded several tracks including Intouchable and Miroir miroir , which became an internet success in 2008. Then in 2008 the rapper Brasco invited her to sing with her in a duet to his single D'une blessure à l'autre . This clip was also an internet hit. Also in 2008, she released the duet S'il ne me restait with El Matador, which found space on his new album Au clair du bitume .
In 2009 Sarah Riani contributed the title Confidence to the original soundtrack of the film Banlieue 13 - Ultimatum by Luc Besson .
In 2010, Intouchable was released as a single on the Polydor label . On the single is another title with Tout était écrit . The single reached number 6 in the French single charts. Sarah Riani sang in the same year on the charity single 1 Geste pour Haïti chérie together with many other musicians (including Charles Aznavour ). In the same year she sang a duet with Marc Antoine on his invitation to his single Remonter le temps .
In 2012 she sang the single Le temps d'une pause with the rapper Soprano and REDK .
In 2013, Riani and Sheryfa Luna were invited by Kenza Farah to the radio show Planet Rap on Skyrock , where they sang the song Sans toi , which appeared on his album Coupé du monde , with Kamelancien . In the same year she signed a record deal with the Believe label for an album, which was to be released the following year. At the end of 2013 she was nominated at the Melty Future Awards in the Coming soon category.
In December 2014 Riani released her EP Encore là , which includes the titles L'étranger , Encore là and Le mal des mots .
In spring 2015 her album DarkEnCiel was released together with the first single Comme toi from her album.
