Sascha Armutat

Sascha Armutat (born May 13, 1971 ) is a German officer and economist . He was head of research at the German Society for Personnel Management . Since 2016 he has been a professor at the Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences .

Life

Armutat resigned after the High School in 1990 as an officer cadet in the Air Force of the Armed Forces one. He first graduated from the Air Force officers' school . From 1991 to 1994 he studied pedagogy at the Helmut Schmidt University in Hamburg (graduate pedagogue). After that he was u. a. Training officer in Heide and lecturer for internal leadership at the Air Force NCO School (USLw) in Appen.

In 2003 he was part-time at the Economic and Social Sciences of the University of Potsdam with a thesis on skills development in the university study professional for the professional field personnel management to Dr. rer. pole. PhD. He then accepted a teaching position at the chair for business administration with a focus on organization and human resources from Dieter Wagner . From 2007 to 2012 he represented the professorship. He was also a lecturer at the Fresenius University in Cologne and the FOM - University of Economics and Management in Düsseldorf.

In 1998 he became a research assistant at the German Society for Personnel Management eV (DGFP) in Düsseldorf. From the year 2000 he built up and expanded the research department of the organization with the help of the working groups department. In 2003 he took over the management of the specialist department. From 2009 to 2013 he was head of the research and subject area with responsibility for the content and a. for the DGFP Academy and from 2014 to 2016 head of the “Strategy, Research and Policy” department.

In 2016, Armutat became professor for general business administration , in particular human resource management and organization, at the Department of Economics and Health at the Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences. He teaches and researches in the areas of personnel management, leadership and organization and gives lectures on trends in personnel management.
