Sascha Pichler (born January 31, 1986 ) is an Austrian football player in the position of a striker . He is currently under contract with SV Stripfing in the Lower Austrian 1st regional league.

Career

In his youth, Pichler played for SK Rapid Wien and FK Austria Wien , where he made his Bundesliga debut in 2003. The talented striker finished third with Austria's U-17 team at the U-17 European Championship in Portugal in 2003 . Then AC Florence brought him to Italy . However, he only belonged to the first team squad for a game once in two years without being used. That is why he left Italy in summer 2005 and returned to Austria to join LASK Linz in the Austrian Bundesliga, where he scored his first Bundesliga goal on December 8, 2007 in the game against SK Austria Kärnten . In 2008 he moved on to SC Schwanenstadt in the first division . After the loan from Schwanenstadt, he returned to Linz at the beginning of the 2007/08 season . At the beginning of 2010 he was registered without a club.
