After membership of the Order, members will receive the Order's insignia in a ceremony held at Government House in Regina or at another venue in Saskatoon . According to the law, which stipulates the design of the medal and ribbon and how they are worn, the main emblem of the order is a silver medallion in the form of a six-pointed star - a stylized reproduction of a Lilium philadelphicum , the official flower of the province. The face is covered with white enamel and bears the escutcheon of the coat of arms of Saskatchewan , within a circular band with the inscription Multis E Gentibus Vires (“Strength of many peoples”, motto of the province) and topped with the Edwardian crown as a symbol of the role of the Canadian monarch as a source of honor.
