Saskia Hula

Saskia Maria Magdalena Hula (born October 3, 1966 in Vienna ) is an Austrian children's book author .

Life

She completed an apprenticeship as a special school teacher , then taught for several years at the Vienna Heilstättenschule before moving to a multicultural elementary school in Vienna in 2000. She has two children and lives alternately in Burgenland and Vienna.

Her first book, Romeo and Juliane, was published in 2004. Several of her books were illustrated by her sister Tizia Hula. Some books have been translated into Korean, Chinese, Danish and Dutch.
