Toad of the month
The toad of the month is a literary award that (like the owl of the month ) is awarded by the STUBE, the study and advice center for children's and youth literature, an area of adult education in the Archdiocese of Vienna in cooperation with the Austrian Library .
Book price
Above all, children's and young people's books from the last few years that, in the opinion of the jury, have not received enough attention are awarded. The winning books can often be found later on the lists of winners for the German Youth Literature Prize or the Austrian State Prize for Children's and Youth Literature .
