Susan Kreller

Susan Kreller (* 1977 in Plauen ) is a German writer , journalist and literary scholar .

life and work

Susan Kreller studied German and English and did her doctorate on German translations of English children's poetry. She became known to a broader public in 2012 with the young people's book Elefanten ist ein nicht . The book was u. a. Positive reviews in the FAZ . It was on the shortlist for the German Youth Literature Prize 2013. The volume of poetry published by Kreller, The Best Day of All Time , was nominated for the 2014 German Youth Literature Prize.

Kreller's puberty novel Schneeriese also made it onto the shortlist for the German Literature Prize and won the prize on October 16, 2015 in the youth book category. In her novel electric fish from 2,019 allusions to the late DDR and in the turn of time to find the Kreller in the Vogtland City Plauen has experienced.

Susan Kreller has lived and worked in Bielefeld since 2008 .
