Anna Woltz (born December 29, 1981 in London ) is a Dutch writer.

Life

Anna Woltz is a daughter of the journalist Wout Woltz . She attended the Montessori school in Waalsdorp in The Hague and began to write a column in De Volkskrant during her time at the Haganum grammar school , which was then printed in book form under the title Overleven in 4b . She wrote her first children's book Alles kookt over when she was seventeen.

Woltz studied history at the University of Leiden and also wrote a column Born in '81 in De Volkskrant. She has been a freelance writer since 2002 and mainly writes children's books.

Woltz received a number of Dutch literary prizes.

Anna Woltz lives in Utrecht and has a son.
