Chris Köver (2010)

Chris Köver (* 1979 ) is a German journalist and feminist . She is co-founder and co-editor of the feminist magazine Missy Magazine, which has been published since October 2008 .

Life

From 1999 Köver studied applied cultural sciences in Lüneburg and Toronto . From 2006 to 2008 she completed a traineeship at Zeit Online . Today she lives in Hamburg and, in addition to her work as editor and publisher of Missy Magazine, is a freelance writer for Die Zeit , Zeit Campus and Neon . She has been an editor at netzpolitik.org since 2018 . Her topics are gender relations in pop culture, especially in film and television, the third wave of feminism as well as net culture and new technologies.

In 2012 Chris Köver published the book Mach's Selbst - Do it yourself for girls together with Sonja Eismann . It is about practical or technical tips on everyday things that you can do yourself, such as starting a band, creating a garden or writing a blog . In 2013, Congratulations, you are a girl! .
