Massimo Camisasca FSCB (born November 3, 1946 in Milan ) is Bishop of Reggio Emilia-Guastalla .

Life

Massimo Camisasca was ordained a priest on November 4, 1975 . On September 14, 1985, he and six priests founded a seminary in Via Liberiana 21 in Rome . The chapter of the order elected him the superior general of the Society of Missionaries of St. Charles Borromeo , which was recognized by the papacy on March 19, 1999.

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him Bishop of Reggio Emilia-Guastalla on September 29, 2012. The Archbishop of Bologna , Carlo Cardinal Caffarra , ordained him episcopal on December 7th of the same year; as co-consecrators were Adriano Caprioli , emeritus bishop of Reggio Emilia-Guastalla, and Adriano Bernardini , Apostolic Nuncio in Italy . As a motto he chose Opus iustitiae pax .
