Susann Opel-Götz
Susann Opel-Götz (born September 18, 1963 in Bayreuth ) is a German illustrator , author and graphic artist from Munich .
Life
Susann Opel-Götz studied art education, German literature and book illustration at the Academy of Fine Arts .
She became known, among other things, through her picture books " From today we are cool " and " Princess Anna or How to find a hero ". The latter was staged for the stage as a children's opera.
In 2012 she published her first children's book “ Aliens is elsewhere ”, which was selected for the list of recommendations for the Evangelical Book Prize.
Her works have been translated into numerous languages and appear in various countries around the world. As an illustrator she worked with Paul Maar , Hilary McKay and Kirsten Boie , among others .
In 2016, Opel-Götz founded her own label " Paperboots " for stationery and gift items .
