Saskia Schottelius

Saskia Schottelius (* 1963 ) is a German non-fiction author, language and communication researcher and teacher of Far Eastern martial arts and philosophy .

Life

Schottelius studied German studies , communication research and general and comparative linguistics at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn , graduating with a Magistra (1988) and doctorate (1993) and completed training as a mental trainer. After a few years as a literary advisor and lecturer for German and rhetoric at home and abroad, she founded the “Chikara Movement Center for Women and Children” in Bonn and Cologne in 1995, which she has been leading as a sensei (teacher for Far Eastern martial arts, meditation and philosophy) . The focus of her work is on the combination of education and movement and the concept of “positive language and form of speech”. She gives courses and seminars nationwide on the subject of personality strengthening and career training for women and works on the spread of modern martial arts philosophy through training and publications.
