Satan's Kingdom is an unincorporated community in the town of Leicester in Addison County , Vermont in the United States . Satan's Kingdom is a settlement on the southeastern shore of Lake Dunmores . To the east, the Moosalamoo National Recreation Area borders the area. The Vermont State Route 53 runs through the settlement in north-south direction.
Satan's Kingdom probably owes its name to an early settler who came in expectation of flat, fertile farmland and was confronted with a piece of land that was hilly, stony and unsuitable for agriculture.
