The Satierkreis (or SaTierkreis) is a chanson - cabaret written by Frieder Nögge (texts) and Polo Piatti (music).

The satirical circle is a satirical song program that describes the characteristic features of the twelve signs of the zodiac in love songs about twelve women . In addition to the prologue and epilogue , it consists of the following songs:

The premiere took place in 1987 in Stuttgart in the Forum Theater . At the end of the cabaret event, the audience was allowed to propose their own themes, on which the two artists improvised satirical songs as an encore .

The Satierkreis continues to be performed in German-speaking countries, for example with Frieder Nögge's son Sebastian Scheuthle (vocals) and Frank Tischer (piano).
