The panicle-shaped inflorescences are 8 to 17.5 cm high and consist of 17 to 27 flowers . The branches of the inflorescence are each 0.2 to 0.5 cm long, are hairless and consist of one to three flowers. The flower stalks are slender, 0.2 to 0.4 cm long and hairless. The five sepals are narrowly ovate, 4 × 1 mm in size, hairless on both sides and on the edge, the veins are inconspicuous. The five petals are white. Three of them are shorter, triangular in shape, 3.5 to 4 × about 2 mm in size, with three veins running through them, with a round to heart-shaped base, a pointed to short pointed tip and a claw about 1 mm in size. The other two petals are linear, 18 to 22 mm long, 3 mm wide, three-veined and have a base that is tapered piece by piece to a 2 mm long claw and a blunt tip. The stamens are 6 mm long. The two carpels are conical in shape below the central part. The ovary is epigyn, ovoid and about 4 mm long. The stylus are divergent and about 1.6 mm long.

Flowering time is between March and May.

Occurrence and etymology

Saxifraga daqiaoensis is only known from the type location in the Chinese province of Guangdong . It grows there on damp stones near a cave in the evergreen, secondary forest in limestone mountains at altitudes of 150 to 350 m.

The type epithet is derived from the name of the Daqiao community , where the type specimen was found.
