The Scardon is a small river in France in the Somme department in the Hauts-de-France region . It rises in the municipality of Saint-Riquier , flows generally in a south-westerly direction through the Ponthieu landscape and, after a run of around 12 kilometers, flows into the Somme as a left tributary in Abbeville . The valley of the Scardon is crossed northeast of Abbeville by the Autoroute A16 on a 1022 meter long concrete bridge.
