Scarred by Beauty is a hardcore band from Copenhagen , founded in 2006 , which has gained fame mainly through their many tours.
history
After the release of their first demo in 2008 and their self-financed EP We Swim in 2009, the band achieved a rapid rise on the national level, which resulted in receiving the “Talent of the Year “The Danish Metal Awards 2009 culminated.
In March 2011 the band released a self-financed album called Sutra , which was followed by several tours through Europe, Great Britain , China and South Asia with the Danish band The Candidate , during which they played at China's largest rock festival, the Midi Modern Music Festival , and internationally well-known bands I Killed the Prom Queen , The Black Dahlia Murder , Meshuggah and Gojira . After the success of the album Sutra , the band signed a management contract with the Danish booking agency 3rd Tsunami and the German label Redfield Records in order to finally release their second album Cape Zero in 2013 .
