action

Carlos and Natalia are in love and each live with their parents in Madrid. The situation in the country is tense; people are doing badly economically and unemployment is high. Carlos and Natalia have no lofty future plans either. In order to earn some money, they decide to make an amateur porn film. Only with the birth of their daughter Julia does their worldview change.

criticism

The film service judges that the “illusion-free, sometimes brittle film revolves around a leaden, stagnant attitude towards life and portrays a lost generation”. Even if “the staging and the main actors evoke lighter tones in spite of all the social melancholy, the focus of the precarious drama is the normality of impoverishment”.

The awards at film festivals and award ceremonies were particularly focused on the performance of the lead actress Ingrid García Jonsson . For example, she received a nomination for the best young actress at the 2015 Spanish Goya Film Prize . She won awards at the Lisbon & Estoril Film Festival 2014, the Sant Jordi Awards 2015, the Toulouse Cinespaña 2014 and the Turia Awards 2015.
