Federal Chess League 2013/14 (Switzerland)

The Federal Chess League 2013/14 was the top division of the Swiss Group Championship (SGM) in chess. The champion was the defending chess club Réti Zurich , from the 2nd Bundesliga Cercle d'échecs de Nyon was promoted . This achieved relegation, but SC Kirchberg had to relegate . Dates and venues

The competitions took place on October 26th, November 16th, December 7th 2013, January 11th, February 1st and 22nd and March 8th 2014. The last round was held centrally in Zurich , the others decentrally at the participating clubs .

Promotion game to the 1st Bundesliga

For the promotion match played on May 10th in Mels , the winners of the two second division seasons qualified with SG Riehen and SC Gonzen . Riehen won with 4.5: 3.5 and was promoted to the 1st Bundesliga.
