Imre Héra (born September 3, 1986 in Budapest ) is a Hungarian chess master .

Life

Héra became Grand Master in 2007. He learned to play chess at the age of six. Héra announced in 1994 in Paks the I.-IV. Place at the Hungarian U-10 championships, and he shared the VI. Place at the U10 youth world championships in Szeged . At the Hungarian U10 championships in 1996 he shared first place again, and at the U10 world championships in Menorca he achieved fifth place. The Hungarian U12- rapid chess championships in 1998 he won so well at the World Championships in Paris . Héra won a First Saturday tournament (FS04 IM) in Budapest in 1998. In 2000 he won the Hungarian U14 rapid chess championships. For the next four years, he focused on school.

In 2005, Héra finished second in a First Saturday tournament (FS10 GM) in Budapest, then won the V.-XI. Place at the Open in Harkány and the first GM norm, followed by the II-IV. Place in Oberwart 2006. He did very well at the European Championships in Dresden 2007, he fulfilled another GM norm, achieved XIV place after the fine scoring and qualified for the 2007 World Chess Cup , where he was in the first round lost to Sergei Rublewski . Héra won the 2007 Open in Oberwart.

Szabó László csoport , the highest Hungarian league, Héra played in the 1999/2000 season at Mat (t) ador SC , in the 2008/09 season at Szombathelyi MÁV Haladás VSE , with whom he also played at the European Club in 2008 Cup participated, from 2009 to 2012 at Aquaprofit NTSK , with which he became champions in 2010 , 2011 and 2012 ; from 2012 to 2014 he was a member of Pénzügyőr Sport Egyesület . He played in the Austrian Bundesliga from 2010 to 2013 for SK Sparkasse Fürstenfeld and in the 2019/20 season for the Fürstenfeld / Hartberg syndicate , in Belgium he has been playing for Schachfreunde Wirtzfeld since 2012 , with whom he became champions in 2013 and 2018 . In the German federal chess league he has been playing at SC Hansa Dortmund since the 2014/15 season , previously he was registered with SV Griesheim in the 2012/13 season , but was not used. He has played in the Polish team championship since 2010 for UKS Rotmistrz Grudziądz , in the Slovakian extra league from 2005 to 2008 he played for ŠK HOFFER Komárno , with whom he became champions in 2006 and 2007 , and for the TJ team in the 2009/10 season INBEST Dunajov in the Dutch Meesterklasse he plays since the season 2015/16 for Charlois Europoort , in the Swiss League for the season 2015/16 for the SC Gonzen with which he in 2016, 2018 and 2019 was champion. In the French Top 12 , Héra has been playing for Grasse Echecs since 2018 .
