Attila Czebe

Attila Czebe (* 26. December 1975 in Budapest ) is a Hungarian Chess - Grandmaster .

Life

Czebe received the grandmaster title in 2003 . For the Hungarian national team he took part in the Mitropacup four times (1997, 2002, 2005 and 2013) . Czebe won or occupied top places in several tournaments: 1st place FS10 IM-B Budapest (1993), I-II. 1st place in the Hungarian U-20 championship in Paks (1995), 1st place FS12 IM Budapest (1996), I-II. Place Honvéd B Budapest (1997), I-III. 1st place FS09 IM-A Budapest (1998), 1st place FS12 IM-A Budapest (1999), 1st place Kali Cup Mindszentkalla (2002), I-II. Place FS08 IM-B Budapest (2002), 2nd place Ciocaltea Memorial Bucharest (2003), 1st place FS09 GM Budapest (2005), 1st place FS10 GM Budapest (2009).

In March 2006 he was banned from the world chess federation FIDE for one year because he was involved in the submission of standards for a tournament in Hungary, which had not taken place. However, the ban was lifted prematurely.

Czebe's Elo number is 2435 (as of June 2019), his highest Elo number of 2526 he reached in July 2011.

Czebe played in Hungary until 2002 for PMSE Antenna Hung , in the 2002/03 season and from 2004 to 2012 for Honvéd Budapest , in the 2003/04 season for Hajdúböszörményi Sakkozók Egyesülete ; since 2012 he has been playing for Zalaegerszegi Csuti Antal . In Belgium he played for champions Vliegend Peerd Bredene in the 2007/08 season and for the Koninklijke Brugse Schaakkring in the 2011/12, 2014/15 and 2016/17 seasons, and in the Czech extra league he played for the ŠK in the 2004/05 season Sokol Plzeň . In the Slovak Extra League, Czebe played for the ŠK Laurex Lučenec in the 2000/01 season and for the ŠK Bestex Nové Zámky from 2002 to 2007 ; since 2008 he has been competing for the ŠK Dunajská Streda , with which he became Slovak team champion in 2014 , 2017 and 2018 and took part in the European Club Cup in 2014, 2016 and 2017 . In the Dutch Meester class , Czebe has been playing for HWP Sas van Gent since the 2015/16 season .
