Ádám Horváth (* 14. July 1981 ) is a Hungarian Chess - Grandmaster .

Horváth received the grandmaster title in 2002 . Horváth won the Hungarian U16 junior championship (1996). He won the European Junior Championship in Avilés in 2000 . With the Hungarian national team he took part in the 2006 Chess Olympiad in Turin . Horváth won or occupied top places in several tournaments: 1./2. Place Atom Cup tournament Paks (1998), 2nd / 3rd place Place FS02 GM tournament Budapest (2001), 2nd place Hotel Lipa GM tournament Szentgotthárd (2001), 2nd place GM tournament Balatonlelle (2002), 1st place GM tournament Balatonlelle (2004).

In Hungary, Ádám Horváth plays for Csuti Antal SK Zalaegerszeg , with whom he was Hungarian team champion in 2002 , 2003 , 2004 , 2005 , 2006 and 2008 and took part in the European Club Cup nine times . In Austria he played for ESV Austria Graz until 2007 (including in the 2000/01 and 2004/05 seasons in the state league A and 1st Bundesliga), and since 2009 he has played at the Gleisdorf chess club in the 2nd Bundesliga middle and Styrian regional league. In Belgium he played until 2011 when KSK Eynatten 47 , with whom he in 2004 , 2005 , 2006 , 2010 and 2011 was champion in season 2011/12 at L'Echiquier Amaytois and in the season 2017/18 for chess enthusiasts Wirtzfeld , with whom he won the title. In Germany, Horváth plays for SG Speyer-Schwegenheim , including in the 2016/17 , 2017/18 and 2019/20 seasons in the 1st Bundesliga .
