Interclubs 2017/18

The Interclubs 2017/18 is the Belgian team championship in chess.

The champions were the chess friends Wirtzfeld , while the defending champion KSK 47 Eynatten had to be content with third place. The TSM Schaakklub from Mechelen and the Schaakkring Brasschaat were promoted from Division 2 in the previous year . While Brasschaat achieved relegation, the TSM Schaakklub together with Cercle des Echecs de Charleroi had to relegate directly.

Game dates

The competitions were played on September 24, October 1 and 22, November 19, December 3, 2017, February 4 and 25, March 11 and 25, and April 22 and 29, 2018.

mode

The twelve participating teams played a simple round-robin tournament . The number of team points (two points for a team win, one point for a draw, no point for a defeat) and then the number of board points (one point for a win, half a point for a draw, no point) decided the placement for defeat).
