Alexandre Dgebuadze ( Georgian ალექსანდრე დგებუაძე , Aleksandre Dgebuadse ; born May 21, 1971 ) is a Belgian chess master who played for Georgia until 2000 .
Life
In 1990 he won the individual championship of the Georgian Soviet Socialist Republic . He won the Belgian individual championship three times, in 2002, 2005 and 2007. Some of his tournament successes in detail: 1st place at the tournament in Lohmar (1999), 2nd place at the 9th Sonnevanck tournament in Wijk aan Zee (2000), 2nd place at the Belgian championship in Charleroi (2001), 1st place at 3rd IM tournament in Gent (2001), 1st place at the Belgian championship in Geel (2002), 2nd place behind Geert Van der Stricht at the Belgian championship in Eupen (2003), 2nd place (tied with the winner Bart Michiels ) at the Belgian championship in Westerlo (2004), 1st place at the Belgian championship in Aalst (2005), 1st place at the Belgian championship in Namur (2007), 2nd place at the Belgian championship in Eupen (2008) , 3rd-4th Place at the TIPC tournament in Charleroi (2008) and 2nd place at the Belgian championship in Namur (2009).
In 1995 he became International Master , and since 2000 he has held the title of Grand Master .

Dgebuadze took part in the 2012 Chess Olympiad with the Belgian national team.

Dgebuadze has been playing for Schachfreunde Wirtzfeld in Belgium since 2016 , after having previously worked for KSK Rochade Eupen-Kelmis . He became Belgian team champion in 2018 . In France he played for Echecs de Sautron until 2005 , in the Dutch Meester class from 2001 to 2004 for BIS Beamer Team and since 2018 for En Passant Bunschoten-Spakenburg , in the British Four Nations Chess League from 2003 to 2007 for the North West Eagles and in the German federal chess league from 2008 to 2012 for SC Remagen . In Georgia he played for Nona Zugdidi's team , with whom he participated in the 1997 European Club Cup .
