Micheil Mtschedlischwili ( Georgian მიხეილ მჭედლიშვილი ; * June 4, 1979 ) is a Georgian chess master .

Life

Mtschedlishvili won or occupied top places in several tournaments: 1st place at the 62nd championship of Georgia in Tbilisi (2002), 2nd place at the powder mill tournament (2005) and 2nd – 4th. Place at the 68th Championship of Georgia in Tbilisi (2009) ,. He has had the title of grandmaster since 2002 .

National team

Mtschedlishvili played for the Georgian national team at the chess Olympiads in 2002 , 2008 , 2010 , 2012 and 2014 . He also took part in the 2005 World Team Championship and the 1999 European Team Championship (with the second Georgian team), 2001, 2003, 2005, 2009, 2011 and 2013.

In Georgia, Mtschedlishvili played for the teams from Tbilisi City , with which he took part in the European Club Cup in 2003 , and I&A Tbilisi , with whom he took part in the European Club Cup in 2005. In the German Federal Chess League he has been playing for SK Turm Emsdetten since 2008 , and in the Dutch Meester class he played for SC Groningen from 2005 to 2007 , with which he was champion in 2007 . Mtschedlischwili has also played in Belgian (for Royal Namur Echecs ), Spanish (2010 to 2012 for Reverté Albox and 2017 for CAC Beniajan Duochess ) and French leagues (for La Tour Sarrazine Antibes ).
