Vladislav Nevednichy (born September 3, 1969 ) is a Romanian - Moldovan chess player .

He won the Romanian individual championship twice: in 2008 in Cluj-Napoca and in 2012 in Merei . He played for Moldova at the 1992 Chess Olympiad and for Romania at the Chess Olympiad : 1994 to 1998 , 2002 to 2006 and 2012 to 2014 . He also took part in eight European team championships (1992 for Moldova, 1999, 2005 to 2009 and 2013 to 2017 for Romania).

At the FIDE World Cup 2000 he failed in the second round to Jeroen Piket . At the 2007 World Chess Cup in Khanty-Mansiysk , he defeated Konstantin Landa in the first round and was eliminated by Laurent Fressinet in the second round .

In club chess, he was team champion with Schachfreunde Wirtzfeld in Belgium in the 2017/18 season . In Hungary, Nevednichy plays for ASE Paks , in the German Bundesliga he played for PSV Duisburg in the 1999/2000 season , in the French team championship in the 2004/05 season for Reims Echec et Mat .

In 1992 he was awarded the title of International Master (IM), and in 1993 the title of Grand Master (GM).

His father Boris Nevednichy (* 1939) is also a chess player and has the title of International Master .
