Constantin Ionescu
Constantin Ionescu (born September 12, 1958 in Brașov ) is a Romanian chess player .
He played for Romania at eight Chess Olympiads from 1986 to 2000 . He also took part in the European team championships (1989, 1992 and 1999), once in the team world championship (1985) in Lucerne and in eleven chess balkaniads (1980 to 1983 and 1985 to 1994).
In 1983 he was awarded the title of International Master (IM). The title of Grand Master (GM) was awarded to him in 1998.
