Vlad-Cristian Jianu (born September 27, 1984 in Bucharest ) is a Romanian chess player .
He won the Romanian individual championship in 2006 in Predeal . He played for Romania at two Chess Olympiads : 2014 and 2016 . He also took part in two European team championships (2007 and 2013).
In 2002 he was awarded the title of International Master (IM). The title of Grand Master (GM) was awarded to him in 2007.
