Lajos Seres

Lajos Seres (born December 8, 1973 in Kisköre , Heves district , Heves county ) is a Hungarian chess master .

Life

Seres became Grand Master in 2003 . He won or occupied top places in some tournaments: 1st place in Budapest (1996, 2000, 3 × 2001, 2003), 1st place in Balatonlelle (2001), I-III. Place in Bagneux (2002), I-II. Place (shared with Levente Vajda ) in Eger (2002), I-II. Alushta place (2003) and I-III. Place in Heves (2005).

His current Elo number is 2430 (as of December 2018), which puts him in 50th place in Hungary's Elo ranking, the highest Elo number so far was 2510 in October 2003.

In the Hungarian team championship Seres played from 1999 to 2002 for PMSE Antenna Hung , in the 2003/04 season and from 2005 to 2007 for Tabáni Spartacus Sportegyesület , since 2008 he has played for Pénzügyőr Sport Egyesület . In Germany, Seres plays for Schachfreunde Schwerin in the Oberliga Nord in the 2018/19 season .
