Small area of ​​Heves

The small area Heves ( Hungarian Hevesi kistérség ) was a Hungarian administrative unit ( LAU 1) in the south of Heves County in northern Hungary until the end of 2012 . During the administrative reform of 2013, the allocation of the localities did not change. All 17 localities were taken over in the following district of Heves (Hungarian Hevesi járás ).

At the end of 2012, 35,116 people lived in an area of ​​697.68 km². The second largest small area had the third lowest population density in the county with 50 inhabitants / km² .

The administrative seat was in the city of Heves (10.864 Ew.). Kisköre (2.936 Ew.) Also had the town charter. The 15 municipalities (Hungarian község ) had an average population of 1,421 (on 35.33 km²).
