NB I. Szabó László csoport 2011/12
The NB I. Szabó László csoport 2011/12 was the top division of the Hungarian team championship in chess. For the reported team squad of the participating clubs see team squad of NL I. Szabó László csoport 2011/12 .
Game dates
The competitions took place on September 25, October 30, November 13 and 27, 2011, January 29, February 19, March 11 and 25, April 22 and May 6 and 20, 2012. They were played decentrally at the clubs involved.
Season course
The defending champion Aquaprofit NTSK won all competitions again and came out on top with a 6 point lead. From the NL I / B. were Tóth László Sakk Egyesület Kecskemét and Komáromi Városi Sakk Közhasznú Sportegyesület ascended. Since the league strength was reduced to 10 for the 2012/13 season and therefore four teams were relegated, both climbers would have had to relegate in purely sporting terms as tenth and eleventh together with Makói Spartacus Vasas Sportegyesület and the Vasas Sport Club . However, since two clubs with Honvéd Auróra Sportegyesület and Csuti Antal SK Zalaegerszeg withdrew voluntarily, Makói and Tóth László still managed to stay in the league. A total of three clubs were deducted points without this having an impact on the order. Komáromi Városi Sakk Közhasznú Sportegyesület entered the 5th and 11th round without a prescribed female player, which is why they each deducted one point, they also gave up a total of three games without a fight, so that they were deprived of another two points. Honvéd Auróra Sportegyesület competed in the 7th round without a female player, so that one point was deducted, and at Vasas Sport Club a player lost two games in the season without a fight, which was punished with a deduction of two points.
