German Chess League 2014/15 (Switzerland)

The German Chess League 2014/15 was the top division of the Swiss Group Championship (SGM) in chess. Champion was the ASK Winterthur , while the defending champion chess club Réti Zurich was relegated. The SG Riehen was promoted from the 2nd Bundesliga . Dates and venues

The competitions took place on November 1st and 15th, December 6th, 2014, January 17th, February 7th and 28th and March 21st, 2015. The last round was organized centrally in Kreuzlingen , the others took place decentrally at the participating clubs instead of.

Promotion game to the 1st Bundesliga

Echiquier Bruntrutain Porrentruy and the Gonzen chess club, the winners of the two second division relays, qualified for the promotion game taking place in Mels on May 2, 2015 . After Echiquier Bruntrutain renounced Porrentruy, SK Tribschen came instead as second in the season, but lost to Gonzen with 0: 8.
