The Scheebach is a 1.78 km long orographically left tributary of the Ruhr in the North Rhine-Westphalian Arnsberg , district of Vosswinkel . The stream rises west of the district Vosswinkel on the eastern slope of the Birkey in the wild forest Vosswinkel at an altitude of 237  m above sea level. NN and flows in an easterly direction at 147  m above sea level. NN in the Ruhr.

The creek overcomes a height difference of 90 m on its way, which corresponds to a mean bed gradient of 50.6 ‰ for a run length of 1.780 km. The brook drains over the Ruhr and the Rhine to the North Sea .

nature and environment

Large parts of the stream are located in the nature reserve landscape area Im Schee and mixed deciduous and alder forest east of Höllinghofen or are designated as protected landscape components. The upper and lower reaches are protected as a landscape protection area.
