The discs is a 352  m above sea level. A. high mountain or a corridor in the Rosaliengebirge in Lower Austria . It is located northeast of Katzelsdorf and south of Neudörfl . The border with Burgenland runs only about 500 meters north or one kilometer east of the summit . The neighboring mountain is the Mitterriegel ( 506  m ) in the southeast. The Scheiben is the last elevation of the northern Rosaliengebirge before it drops off towards Neudörfl. The Mattersburger Schnellstraße runs north of the Scheiben . There is a quarry on the northwestern slope of the Scheiben.
