Schewtschenkowe ( Ukrainian Шевченкове ; Russian Шевченково Shevchenko ) is a village in the northeast of the Ukrainian Mykolaiv Oblast with about 1200 inhabitants (2010).
The after the Ukrainian national poet Taras Shevchenko named village is located in Rajon Novyi Buh 22 km south of Rajonzentrum Novyi Buh one kilometer east of the trunk road N 11 . Shevchenko borders with the villages of Poltawka ( Полтавка ) and Novopoltawka ( Новополтавка ). The railway line from Dolynska to Mykolaiv with a train station in Nowopoltawka runs past the village .
