The SCHILLER AG is a global medical technology company, headquartered in Baar in Switzerland . SCHILLER mainly develops, produces and sells products in the field of electrocardiography , spirometry and ergospirometry , defibrillators , rescue devices for emergency use by rescue services on the ground, in the air and at sea, as well as for fire brigades and blood pressure monitors .
history
The company was founded in 1974 by Alfred E. Schiller. Initially, the company produced pocket electrocardiographs for emergency use. Full-fledged multi-channel EKGs, spirometers and patient monitors were added later. In 2000, SCHILLER took over the French company Bruker Médical and thus expanded the product range to include defibrillators. In 2014, the company acquired the majority in the German medical technology company GANSHORN Medizin Electronic in order to strengthen its influence in the cardio-respiratory area.

The main production sites of Schiller AG are the headquarters in Baar , as well as Wissembourg in Alsace , Niederlauer , Puducherry and Tianjin . Schiller also has over 20 sales companies of its own as well as over 100 independent sales and service partners worldwide. In Germany, Schiller is represented by SCHILLER Medizintechnik GmbH based in Feldkirchen . SCHILLER-Reomed AG in Obfelden is responsible for advice, sales, training and service in Switzerland. Both SCHILLER Medizintechnik and SCHILLER-Reomed are 100% subsidiaries of SCHILLER Holding AG.
