The Schinderbach is an approx. 2 km long southwest tributary of the Waginger See . It arises from several upper courses, most recently from the left Lohbach and the right Dobelbach (or forest ditch?). The last, with its right tributary / upper course forest ditch, is the longer source river. Both upper reaches arise more or less south of Waging am See . The Schinderbach flows through the district of Gaden and, after almost 2 km to the north-east, flows into Lake Waginger at the Schwanenplatz campsite at the tip of a confluence protruding into it.

Together with the longest of the upper stretches, the entire stretch of the stream is significantly longer at over 12 km and then flows mainly north. The sections furthest from the mouth are in the municipalities of Wonneberg, Surberg and Teisendorf.
