The Schleifenberg tower is a lookout tower in the Liestal municipality in the Basel region .
The current steel lattice tower was built in 1900 instead of the earlier wooden tower (built in 1891). Renovation work on the tower was carried out in 1932, 1985 and 2007. With an entrance fee of CHF 0.50, the viewing platform can be accessed via 150 steps at a height of 28.5 meters.
