The Schlossgut Iglhof is a former estate in Iglbach , a district of the Affing community in the Swabian district of Aichach-Friedberg . The building is a protected monument .

history

The castle estate was first mentioned in a document in 1126. It was destroyed in the Thirty Years War and then rebuilt. The barons of Leyden owned the castle property from 1750 to 1816 , after which it passed into the possession of the barons of Gravenreuth together with Affing Castle . In March 2007 the former nave was demolished. In 2010 it was proposed to save the Iglhof and use it as a town hall.

architecture

Today's two-storey saddle roof building with a curved east gable was probably built in the late 17th century. The farm building ( nave ) with only one ground floor had a gred roof .
