The final chord is a German rock band from Jena. She is currently under contract with the Rookies & Kings label .

Band history

Final Chord was founded in 2005 under the name Mental Hospital by singer Christopher and guitarist Poree. The two already played together in the cover band No Instinct, where they tried their hand at English and German rock and punk classics. There have been several line-up changes over the years. In 2013, the debut album Zum Siegen damned appeared in self-distribution. In the aftermath, Poree left the band. With his successor Rico, the EP Our words - our songs were recorded, which was also self-distributed.

Shortly before the release of the second album Spieler or Bauer , the name was changed to the final chord. The album was finally released on February 15, 2018 as an in-house production, but distributed by Soulfood , which also took over the management. In 2018 the band also performed at the GOND and as support for Goitzsche Front and Untouchbar .

On June 5, 2020, the album Spiegelbild der Zeit was released on the Rookies & Kings label. With him, the band reached number 57 in the German album charts.

Music genre

Musically, the final chord plays German rock in the style of Kärbholz , Goitzsche Front, Böhse Onkelz or Frei.Wild .
